"Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 at the Coppersmith Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph G. Rigby, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Newton Cemetery. Emporium veterans organizations will conduct graveside military rites."--from obituary
