Notes
Birth
1870 census lists his age as 60 and 1880 census lists his age as 69 which would indicate a birthdate of about 1910.The 1870 census indicates that both of his parents were foreign born.
Marriage
Their oldest child, Elizabeth, "Lizzie" ws born in 1850.Death
He is listed in the 1870 census as living in Madison Twp, Montgomery Co OH with his wife Margaret and five daughters. His age is 60 and the record indicates that he and both of his parents were "foreign-born."In the 1880 census he (69 years old), his wife Margaret (63 years old) and their youngest daughter, Viola (12 years old) appear to be living in the household of their daughter Elizabeth (31 years old) and her husband John T. Helstern (34 years old) and their three children George (8 yo), Cora Mae (6 yo) and Margaret (4 yo) in Madison Twp, Montg Co OH.
The name "Dulaut/Dulot/Dolartz" does not appear in the 1900 census of that area.
A "hint" on Ancestry.com cites a family tree that indicates Simon Dulot died in 1870. That seems unlikely if his name appears in the 1880 census.
Residence
In 1880, the Dulot family was living with John and Elizabeth DULOT Helstern, their daughter and son-in-law.Occupation
The 1870 census reports that he owned $500 real estate and had a personal estate of $150. The 1880 census lists him as a farmer.Endnotes
