Mary Frances notes that there is "no record of maiden name" of Elizabeth [Mrs. Adam] Shaffer.Death
Bob and Carolyn Parker visited the Porch Cemetery 18 Jul 2007. They report that Elizabeth Shaffer's gravestone reads: "Died April 9, 1881..." This differs from previous information of a death date of 1861.Endnotes
