Gravestone in Porch Cemetery indicates a birth date of Jan 25, 1800. However, both Clarence Rosenberger's data and Mary Frances NEIDERHISER Allen's "Foust genealogy" list the date of May 25, 1800 for his birth.Death
Bob and Carolyn Parker visited Porch Cemetery July 18, 2007. they report that Adam Shaffer's gravestone reads "Born Jan 25, 1800, Died February 17, 1868." Death date differs from other information.Endnotes
