Individual Details
Tolbert Fanning Robinson
(9 Jun 1867 - 7 May 1955)
BIOGRAPHY
Uncle Tol, as we called him, lived in a log cabin which was the oldest in Tennessee until it burned in the 70's, I think. I believe the pictures of Emma Martin were made on the porch of that house. I have a newspaper article and believe he may have been named for a Methodist preacher, Tolbert Fanning, who ran a children's home. This is the only place I have found that name in the family.
