In 1930, Gladys was working as a stenographer in a law office. Park Jr. was 4 years, 8 months old. Gladys and Park were both age 28. Park was driving a truck for a laundry. They lived on Elm St.

Note: This address places Parke & Didi as living next door to Wally & Mimi. By the time I came into the family, they had moved elsewhere and I never knew that the Moores had lived on Elm. I wonder if the lot later sold by Didi and Mom [sometime around the year 2000] lay between the houses. When the lot was sold, the title was still in the name of Paul McKim, who had died in 1946 - the lawyer's fee to clear the title took about half of the money of the sale. I think both ladies realized about $1500. There are various house numbers in the census and city directories - I'm not at all sure that they moved, but it is apparent the houses were renumbered, as the city grew.

In 1983, Gladys Ducoin lived at 1005 Burnham Rd, Ft. Smith

Didi moved to Louisiana to go into a nursing home near her grandson; she likely died there. Parke is buried Forest Park Cemetery in Ft. Smith and her name is on the stone, but no dates have been inscribed. Her only son had predeceased her.

Death Certificate from Louisiana shows that Did did died in Baton Rouge, LA of congestive heart failure. It lists her place of burial as Forest Park Cemetery. The informant was Mrs. Eulema Moore, probably a daughter-in-law, or granddaughter-in-law.
