Homer Titsworth died at the age of 92 years, 5 months and 21 days. He was the son of Charles and Sarah Livona (Cromwell) Titsworth.

Divorced 3 Sep 1942, Pulaski Co, AR. Dempsey died 18 Jul 1944 of tuberculosis, exhaustion, and was manic-depressive. Homer was married to Vivian Pauline (Hurst) Swearington on 3 Sep 1942 (the day his divorce from Dempey was final) in Saline Co, AR. He was 42, Mrs. Vivian Swearington was 34.. She died on February 13, 1964 and is buried at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Vivian had married Claude Swearingen, 26 Jun 1936, in Crawford Co. She was divorced from him 1 Nov 1937.

Vivian Pauline Titsworth, age 55 years, 11 months, 22 days, died at Sparks Hospital on February 13, 1964. She was born to Burt and Lillie Mae (Martin) Hurst in Commerce, Texas on February 22, 1908. She was a homemaker, a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church, and a charter member of Eastern Star in Russellville. Formerly from Alma, Vivian had been a Fort Smith resident for 21 years.
She was survived by her husband, Homer Titsworth; a daugther, Mrs. Dean Epps of Fort Smith; two step-sons, Ray Titsworth and Kenneth Titsworth, both of Wichita, Kansas; one sister; Mrs. Guy Caldwell of North Little Rock and two grandchildren.
Services were held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 1964, at New Bethel Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Merle Harris and Reverend Cayle Kelley officiating. One of the songs selected for singing was, "In the Garden."
Active pallbearers were Curtis Grober, Johnny Campbell, James E. Harris, C.B. Whitsett, Marvin Price and Odell Redding.
Honorary pallbearers were Ted Cloninger, T.C. Cagle, Art Cutsinger, Brun Johnson and Birl Ellis.
Interment was at Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arknasas.
Cause of Death: Myocardial Infarction, massive. Arkansas Death Certificate #2858. Parents were Burt Hurst and Lillie Mae Martin. Homer was the informant.

Homer was also married to Matilda "Mattie" (Vandergriff) Cromwell-Titsworth. She died on June 5, 1975 and is buried at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas. I believe this marriage was after the death of Vivian in 1964, although a FindAGrave narrative claims her as Homer's second wife - not possible based on divorce from Dempsey and remarriage to Vivian on the same day in 1942.

Mattie Vandergriff has an Arkansas Delayed Birth Certificate #57. Mattie Vandergriff was born 11 May 1891, Alma, Richland Twp, Crawford Co, AR to Andrew Jackson Vandergriff, age 44, b. KY farmer, and Mollie Gregory, age 34, b. in Fort Smith. She was the 7th child in the family - 6 were living. Dan Engler signed the affidavit on 15 mar 1943 - no relationship was given, he certified he "knew the facts of the birth".

Cromwell; mother, Francis Olinger, both born in Arkansas. Buried Gill Cemetery.

Matilda "Mattie" Cromwell Titsworth died at the age of 84 years, 25 days. She was the wife of (1) Claud Aaron Cromwell - married on December 8, 1912 (2) Homer Titsworth (3) Carl Callison and (4) Wallace Waits.
Mattie's daughters were; Ruth Crabtree of Long Beach, California and Naomi Crane of Boise, Idaho.
Mattie's Step-sons were; Kenneth Titsworth and Ray Titsworth, both of Alma, Arkansas.
