Charles Titsworth, of Davis, California, age 94, died Thursday, June 17, 1965, at Yolo General Hospital in Woodland, Yolo County, California. He had been a California resident for 22 years. Formerly, Charles Titsworth was of the Kibler Community in Arkansas.
Survivors include his widow, Dealie, two sons, Ralph of Fort Smith and Homer of Fort Smith, two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Stewart of Kibler and Mrs. Lucille Kensheloe of Davis; and several grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at Davis, California, under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel. (End of Obit).
Charles Titsworth was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Livona (Cromwell)Titsworth; his parents, Darcas (aka Dorcus) Kilgore Titsworth and Chistopher Columbus Titsworth; his paternal grandparents, William Peyton and Sarah A. (Blackwell) Titsworth; and paternal great grandparents, John and Sarah (Thompson) Titsworth.
Charley Titsworth, age 22, married Miss Livona Cromwell, age 21, on December 24, 1893, in Crawford County, Arkansas, as per marriage record.
Sarah Livona Cromwell Titsworth died on July 6, 1936, and is buried in Gill Cemetery, Crawford County, Arkansas.
Charles Titsworth's second wife, Dealie (Vandergriff) Titsworth-McCullough, was the sister to Charles's sister-in-law, Matilda "Mattie" (Vandergriff) Cromwell-Titsworth, who was the wife of Homer Titsworth.
After the death of Charles Titsworth, Dealie (Vandergriff) Titsworth, married Claude M. McCullough, on December 12, 1970, in Yolo County, California. Dealie died February 8, 1988, in Yolo County, California.
As per Death Certificate: Charles Titsworth died of Purulent Peritonitis due to Gangrenous Cholecystitis.

OBITUARY - MRS. SARAH L. TITSWORTH SUCCUMBS AT KIBLER MONDAY
Mrs. Sarah Livonia (Cromwell) Titsworth, 63 years old, wife of Charles Titsworth, died at 4:40 p.m. Monday at her home in the Kibler community.
Mrs. Titsworth was born in Benton County, Arkansas, in 1873, and had lived most of her life in the Kibler vicinity.
Mrs. Titsworth is survived by her husband, Charles, two daughers, Mrs. Nellie (Titsworth) Steward and Mrs. Lucille (Titsworth) Kincheloe, both of Haroldton; two sons, Homer and Ralph Titsworth, both of Kibler; one sister, Mrs. Rebecca (Cromwell) Smets of Glendale, California; one brother, Price Cromwell of Kibler; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at the Kibler Methodist Church with Mrs. Billie Winn, Pentecostal pastor, officiating.

Sarah Lovonia (Cromwell) Titsworth was the daughter of John Wesley Cromwell and Mary Elizabeth (May) Cromwell. Her nephews were Claud Aaron Cromwell, Kenneth King Titsworth and Homer "Ray" Titsworth.
