Virginia was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Miller) Rhoads and the wife of the late Ted N. Reeves, Jr. Virginia and Ted were married on Sept. 19, 1942. They had two daughters, Diane (Robert) Kibbey and Patti (Dee) Harvey, who survive.
Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, reading, listening to music, writing poetry (she filled notebooks with verses chronicling her life), painting, and spending Saturday afternoons with her granddaughter. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was also a member of Fairmount Wesleyan Church.
Other survivors include four grandchildren: Melinda (John) Woods, Fort Wayne; Rodney (Stephanie) Kibbey, Greenwood; Kenny (Michelle) Harvey, Sweetser; and Tim (Kimberlee) Harvey, Austin, Texas. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren: Brady Collins, Jedidiah Harvey, Josiah Harvey, Elizabeth Harvey, and Piper Lee Harvey.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and James Rhoads, and a grandson, David Kibbey.
