Ted was the son of the late Ted L. and Maude (Smalley) Reeves and the husband of Virginia May (Rhoads) Reeves. Ted and Virginia were married on Sept. 19, 1942. They had two daughters, Diane (Robert) Kibbey and Patti (Dee) Harvey, who survive.
Ted and his brother Don owned and operated Reeves Service Station on Main Street in Fairmount, IN. He also enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting, putting together puzzles, reading, listening to big band music, and woodworking in his garage.
Other survivors include a sister Deloris and four grandchildren: Melinda (John) Woods, Fort Wayne; Rodney (Stephanie) Kibbey, Greenwood; Kenny (Michelle) Harvey, Sweetser; and Tim (Kimberlee) Harvey, Austin, Texas.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard and Don Reeves, and a grandson, David Kibbey.
