Mark was born February 24, 1960 in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of the late Billy Wayne Franks and Alice Faye Ross Franks. He graduated from Jackson Central-Merry High School in 1978 and was employed as a maintenance manager for LSC Communications. He was married August 17, 2012 to the former Tamyra Wiley and had been a resident of Brownsville for the past two years. Mark was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Collierville, Tennessee and was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and being with his family and friends at Champagne Hill.
Mr. Franks is survived by his wife, Tamyra Wiley Franks of Brownsville, TN; two daughters, Chloee Franks of Hampton, VA and Savannah Sneed of Bartlett, TN; his son, Adrian Franks of West Memphis, AR; his stepdaughter, Jami Jones of Oakland, TN; his stepson, Michael Billings of Stuart, FL; two sisters, Teresa Castleman of Jackson, TN and Sharon Stephens of Bartlett, TN; his brother, Bill Franks of Williamsburg, VA; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Wiley of Cordova, TN; four grandsons, three granddaughters and his dog, Chewbug.
