Services for Billy Wayne Franks, 67 will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 17, 2004 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Ervin officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Franks died on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital
Mr. Franks ws born in Corinth, MS on July 16, 1937, the son of W. L. "Dub" Franks and the late Verble Murphy Franks. He was a three year veteran of the US Air Force serving in Germany. He was a former employee of the Jackson Police Dpartment and was retired from United Transportation as a driver. He was a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Fay Ross Franks of Jackson; two sons, Mark Franks and wife Angela of Mason, TN, and Billy W. Franks, Jr. and wife Leslie of Williamsburg, VA; two daughters, Teresa Castleman and husband Tim of Jackson and Sharon Stephens and husband Tim of Bartlett, TN; his father, W. L. "Dub" Franks of Jackson; a brother, Charles Franks and wife Linda of Bartlett, TN; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren....
