Individual Details

Thomas HAYS

(Abt 1820 - )

Provisional son of Delitha Hays - lived nearby and she had an unaccounted-for son of the approximate age with her in the 1840 census in Tippah Co. His birth in SC is puzzling - was more likely TN if he was indeed her son. Also three generations of his descendants had atDNA testing and match my uncle as well as other descendants of Delitha Hays.

Thomas has been said to have married Nancy Robinson. The marriage records from Tippah Co. are lost for this time period.
