George W. Longmire Sr., 59 years old, RR 17, Box 443, Moeller Road, died yesterday in his home following a short illness.
A native of Illinois, Mr. Longmire had lived here most of his life. He was employed as a metal finisher by Chevrolet division, General Motors Corporation.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday in Shirley Brothers' Central Chapel. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Nellie P. Longmire; a son, george W. Longmire Jr.; a sister Mrs. Lilly Kerr; a brother Horace Longmire,and two grandchildren, all of Indianapolis.
