William Maish, 70, long time Blackduck resident, died Nov. 28 at the University hospital.
Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Donald L. Drury at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at the United Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery with Snustad Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Maish was born Feb 6, 1896 at Cedar Rapids, Ia., and came to Blackduck at a very early age. he attended the Hornet school. In 1920 he married Charlotte Horton at Bemidji. he was employed in construction.
Survivors beside his wife include 12 children, Earl, Alvern, Billy, Bud, Clifford, Otto, merle, Kenny, Donnie, Violet Freese, Shirley Schultz, Janet Knabble; seven sisters; one brother; 44 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
