Bill Avery, 217 Trevyn, died at Holdenville General Hospital Tuesday night at the age of 86 (1-24-79 written in - his date of death)
He was born in Oklahoma, July 28, 1892. He lived in this area all his life.
Survivors are two daughters, Viola Boren of Atwood and Joy Dean Reed, Oklahoma City; seven sons: Melton Avery, Holdenville; Otis Avery, Sacramento, CA; Leon Avery, Tulare, CA; James, Billy, Ray & Robert Lee Avery - all of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday in Hudson Furneral Home chapel with Meredith Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Holdenville cemetery, under direction of Hudson.

Notice of his death states he died of a stroke. He was buried on Jan 27, 1979; Holdenville Cemetery, Hughes Co, OK.
