IDABEL, Okla. - James Robert Skiens, 74, a retired railroad foreman, died Monday at home in Wright City after extended illness. Born in Clark County, Arkansas, he had resided in McCurtain County since 1924. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife Mary; two sons, Don Skiens, Wright City; Floyd Skiens, Roseboro, Ore.; two daughter, Mrs. Robert Steele, Pecos, Tex., and Mrs. Fred Mitchell, Klamath Falls, Ore.; 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one brother, J. W. Skiens, Arkadelpia, Ark.
