Christina Harmon
(Ca 1738 - )
Christina married James Lyon.
There is a Christina Harmon who married Col. James Lyon of Henry Co, about 1757. James Lyon Jr named a daughter Christina Harmon Lyon after his mother. James Lyon served as a Colonel in the Rev War; his oldest son Stephen, who died in 1820 in Grainger Co TN was a captain.
James Lyon (1736-29 Dec 1817) was the son of Humbertson Lyon who lived on New River. In 1746 Humbertson was on the road crew on the New River along with Jacob Harmon and his three sons, George Harmon, Valentine Harmon - and Adam Harmon was overseer. Humbertson died in Washington Co VA 1784, leaving a will.
Christina would have been the age to be a daughter of either Adam or Jacob - however, it is know that Adam did indeed have a daughter named Christina who married Jeremiah Pate. Therefore, it would seem Jacob was her father. Christina's children were bron between 1758-1778.
21 Mar 1787, Lincoln Co KY court records. There is a Power of Attorney from Jacob Harman to Stephen Lyon acknowledged and recorded, concerning the estate of Samuel Cross of Henry Co VA.
