BETROTHAL IS ANNOUNCED AT TEA
Miss Mickey McKim, of Beverly Hills, announced her engagement a few days ago to Thomas Martin, of Laurel canyon to a bevy of her intimate friends at a bridge tea. The betrothal was disclosed by means of a box of candy in which was cleverly condealed her beautiful diamond.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Principia in St. Louis (MO) and U.C.L.A. and was affiliated with the Phi Mu sorority, Spurs and Gamma Alpha Chi sorority. Favored guests invited to the betrothal tea included: Misses Clarice Bennett, Evelyn Bliss, Helen Carey, Leona Cranston, Louise Glass, Lois Harlan, Betty Ligon, Julia Foley, Marguerite Kroeger, Eileen Lloyd, Maude Milne, Evelyne Pugh, Madalyn Pugh, Zelpha Schryach. Florrie Witkowski, Mona Williams, Grace Taylor. Mesdames: Darwin Clark, and Hays Goodwin.

Also there is a picture of Micky on page six of unknown paper, about Beverly Hills area. BRIDE-TO-BE MISS MICKY McKIM, of 438 S. Bedford Dr., Beverly Hills, who is one of the season's popular brides-to-be. Her engagment to Thomas Martin of Laurel Canyon, Hollywood, was announced recently.

Mickey married Thomas Clark Martin, b. 20 Jun 1908, d. 17 May 1995. He was son of Thomas Clark Martin, b. 25 May 1874, d. 5 Oct 1937 and
Bell Flora Davidson, b. 6 Dec 1874, d. 26 May 1952

They were married at "The we kirk o' the heather" on the 24th of May 1935 using his full name Thomas Clark Martin Jr. and Grace Miller McKim in the presence of Harry Camello and Dorothy (his sister Ruth) Martin both residing at San Jose CA. Tom went in with his father and several other partners in the company, Accurate Vending in Burbank. They originally had vending machines for gum, candy and cigarettes. They sold off all but the cigarettes before 1971.

DEATH: Died in the Imperial Nursing Home in Studio City, Los Angeles County California.
BURIAL: Tom was cremated and placed in a niche in the Columbarium of Valor 64275-6 Row, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles County, California. Mickey was also cremated and her ashes placed near Tom.
