Grandmother Lettie & Mickey were just walking home after a trip downtown & had just left the streetcar, & walked towards home when Lettie stepped off a curb just ahead of Mickey,& was struck by a car. taken inside an apt.on the corner, where she died.There were no emergency vehicles at that time.

McKIM - Lettie Miller, age 55, passed away Monday, November 7, at her home in St. Louis. Survived by husband Horace G. McKim; a son, William H. McKim, and a daughter, Grace M. McKim, all of the home, and two brothers, W. R. B. Miller of 404 W. 63rd and A. W. Miller of 4024 Forest. Funeral services Thursday, November 10, at 2 pm from R. V. Lindsey & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Forest Hill cemetery.

Bequests:
To daughter Grace McKim, now about age four, all jewelry
To son William Henry McKim and my brother A. W. Miller, as trustee, ten shares of stock in the W. C. Miller Estate Company. They shall pay $100 per month out of dividends to my daughter Grace until she is eighteen. When she is eighteen they are to turn over to her five shares of said stock. Any payments to be free and clear of any future husband. All dividends on five of the shares to be paid to my son William Henry and five shares to be turned over to him when Grace reached age eighteen.
To my husband, Horace G. McKim, in lieu of all Curtesy rights any rights and interest in my estate, five shares of capital stock in the W. C. Miller Estate Company. Upon his death, his legacy to be divided equally between my son and daughter.
The remainder to be divided equally between my husband, daughter, and son.
Horace G. McKim, my husband, to be executor.
