Social Security data also perhaps reveals still another wife. There is a record for Wallace Warren Stevinson, whose name was listed also as Wallace Warren Malott, was born 30 Dec 1919 and died 11 June 1997. His parents listed as Israel B. Stevinson and Dorothy M. Gilmore.
I could not determine when Dorothy may have been married Israel but she was definitely married to Walter W. Malotte, 9 May 1918 in Seattle, King Co, WA. They were still together in 1930, in Seattle with children Wallace, 10 and Gordon, 5. The 1940 Census in San Diego, gives her as Dorothy Stevenson, 38; Wallace W., 19, son and Gordon G., 14, son - both listed with the Stevenson surname. She listed her statas as "Married" but husband not in household. She was living in Saline, Kansas in 1935. Wallace was the only worker - in an aircraft factory.
Gordon Graham Stevinson gave his name as Stevinson to Social Security. Born 25 Sep 1925, died 30 Mar 2005. But listed parents as Walter W. Malott and Dorothy Gilmore.
Dorothy died with still another surname.
