One Abigail Burr, 9464-DMV, married Daniel Lockwood - she was the daughter of Daniel Burr.
The wills of both Nathaniel and Jehu Burr name a daughter as Abigail. Jehu's daughter Abigail, GDD9-BRD, was unmarried when he wrote his will in January of 1689/90. She has apparently arbitrarily been given a marriage to John Wheeler. However, Nathaniel Burr's will of Nov 1711, specifically says his daughter Abigail, GCS8-KFG, was married to John Wheeler. There is definitely a marriage record dated 12 Mar 1692 for the marriage of John Wheeler & Abigail Burr in Fairfield, CT. Were there TWO John Wheelers? did one Abigail die young and a John Wheeler married two Abigail Burrs? Has John Wheeler been attached wrongly to Jehu's daughter all along - I suspect this is the correct answer.
