Listed with the family of Samuel and Mary S. Vance was Mary Vance, age 62, born Pennsylvania. This would seem to be Mary.
Samuel was age 47, born in Tennessee - this is apparently the younger Samuel counted near Mary & her mother in both 1830 and 1840. He was also in Jefferson Co in 1860 but I cannot place him in the family.
