Henry SHERMAN the Younger

Henry was buried at Dedham on 28 Aug 1610. His will dated 21 Aug 1610, was proved on 8 Sept. He named Susan his wife. Sons: Henry, Nathaniel, Daniel, John, Ezekiel, Edmund and Samuel. He named Henry Ffenn, sone of Simon Ffenn and daughter Pheabe Fenn. He gave a bequest to Anna Petfield, dau of William Petfield and to Anne Sherman, his brother Dr. Sherman's daughter which was the gift of her grandfather. He named Gilbert Hills his brother in law, and Edmund Galloway, his cousin. Administration was granted on 12 Sep 1610 to Henry Sherman, the younger, eldest son of the deceased and executor also of Susan Sherman, deceased.

Five descendants of Henry Sherman and Susan Lawrence were Great Migration colonists to New England - three other colonists were descendants of Susan's siblings. Henry's brother Edmund who had children by two wives, had twelve descendants among the Great Migration colonists.
