I have known the claiment John Miller since about the year 1832 - My wife who is now dead was his sister. I was at his wedding when he married Mary Ann Julian who was the mother of Israel H. Miller. Claiment was married to the soldier's mother in the Spring of 1839 in the county of Marion, state of Indiana - and I know that the said Mary A. Miller wife of John Miller the claiment and mother of Israel H. Miller, died in the town of Zionsville Indiana on the 18th day of June 1887 that the Said Soldier, Israel H.
