Daniel Comstock

Daniel had a son Lyman, who moved to Auburn, Cayuga Co, where he died after 1880. Lyman, age 12, and his grandmother, Mary Comstock, were living with Daniel's sister Sarah in the 1850 Census. Lyman was still living with his aunt in 1860.
Daniel's wife may have been Eliza Comstock who was born 1817 and died 25 Dec 1837 and is buried in the Arnold-Comstock Cemetery, Fleming, Cayuga Co, NY - the cemetery where Daniel lies.

DIED
Of a pulmonary complaint, in Fleming, Cayuga Co April 16th, Mr. Daniel Comstock in the 37th year of his age. He was born in Adama, Massachusetts and removed to this town with his parents about twenty five years ago. In his death, his little son is made an orphan, his aged parents are deprived of their only son, and the town has lost a prominent and worthy citizen.
