Will in Goochland DB 2, p.249. Dated 14 Jan 1735; probate 20 Jul 1736. He was a house carpenter. Bequests to wife Elizabeth, son Matthew, dau. Elizabeth - seemed to be only children. Names brothers John and Josiah, Daniel Branch, son of Matthew Branch the elder, likely his brother-in-law. Exec: Elizabeth Woodson, John Woodson, Josias Woodson, Joseph Parsons. Wit: Edward Scott, John Lew, Tho. Dickens.
There was apparently also a son Stephen. There is a 1762 bond of Matthew Woodson to his brother Stephen.
