Marcella Marie FELBER

Marcella (Felber) Meyer-Bierman, age 94, of North Mankato, formerly of the Easton area, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Parkview Care Center in Wells.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Father Mark McNea will officiate and burial will be in OLMC Catholic Cemetery, Barber Twp., Faribault Co., MN.
Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.
Marcella was born February 23, 1916, in McIntosh, MN, the daughter of Frank and Mamie (Raboin) Felber. Marcella grew up on a farm near Easton, MN and enjoyed her many years there. In early 1936 she married George Meyer and they had 8 children. They were married until George's death in 1961. In 1964 she married Bob Bierman.
She is survived by her children: Irving (Cleone) Meyer of Lakeville, MN, Sanford (Marlene) Meyer of Buffalo, MN, Joseph (Julie) Meyer of Arnolds Park, IA, Calvin (Kathy) Meyer of Omaha, NE, Ellen (Steve) Bowman of Mt. Zion, IL; 2 daughters-in-law: Joan Meyer of Wells, MN, Coralee Meyer of Remer, MN; 33 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 stepsons: Jim (Shirley) Bierman of Waukegan, IL, Tom (Judy) Bierman of Eden Praire, MN along with many nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband George F. Meyer; second husband Bob Bierman; 3 sons: Earl (Ellen's twin) in infancy, Paul in 2004, and Eugene in 2010; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; daughter-in-law Anne and granddaughter Jennifer.
