"Felix Louis Lurquin was born 30 March 1895 in Fort Howard, Wisconsin. He attended Elmore and St. Willebrod Grade Schools, and worked in the family gardens. He became a diabetic and made quite a study of the effect of diet on diabetes. For some time, he made a business of grinding soybeans into meal which he sold to hospitals and other diabetic customers in the area. Felix died 12 December 1928 at the age of 33. He is buried in the LURQUIN lot in Allouez Catholic Cemetery."
