Individual Details
Ernestine Marie Eloise COLLETTE
(13 Feb 1869 - 23 Aug 1956)
Her godparents were Romain Bertrand and Zoé Jodoin.
Ernestine lived with Wilfrid and Maggie Vincent for some time after the death of her husband, Levi. Levi was her first cousin, so they had to get a special dispensation to get married. None of their children survived infancy, according to Sam Vincent.

Age 2Residence (family)
Levi's occupation: Grocery merchant. This census indicates that Ernestine had borne three children and that one was still living. There is no child listed as living with them, and I have heard that they could not have children.Residence (family)
Ernestine is here reported to be a naturalized citizen (1884), having immigrated from Quebec in 1877. Levi is listed in this census as a farmer.Residence
