Her godparents were Romain Bertrand and Zoé Jodoin.
Ernestine lived with Wilfrid and Maggie Vincent for some time after the death of her husband, Levi. Levi was her first cousin, so they had to get a special dispensation to get married. None of their children survived infancy, according to Sam Vincent.
