Birth
The records of Saint-Paul-de-Joliette from 1808 and 1809 were damaged or destroyed, leaving only three pages for 1808 and none at all for 1809. This leaves a gap of more than three and a half years between the births of Sophie (19 Feb 1807) and Marie Thérèse (17 Sep 1810), in which there was almost certainly another child born to this couple. My best efforts thus far have failed to find a birth record for Augustin. The spacing of the children makes this gap period in the records the most probable time for him to have been born.Marriage
