Both Jetté and Tanguay list a child, Michel, born to this couple in 1717. Tanguay then indicates that this individual married Marie-Anne Loiseau in 1750. However, the burial record for Joseph Jared-Beauregard in 1733 (Parish records of St-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres, FHL #1288560) lists the same parents and gives the individual's age as 16. Because of this, I believe that Michel, born in 1717, and Joseph, died in 1733, were the same person, and that the second Michel, born in 1724, was the one who married Marie-Anne Loiseau. Tanguay was mistaken.
