Gottlieb KAISER

Gottlieb Kaiser, 88, of 1212 N 12th St., died Friday, at his home following a lingering illness.
Born Sept. 17, 1870, at Rheinwald, Russia, he was a son of the late Peter and Anna Kaiser, attended the elementary school there and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
On Feb. 1, 1894, he married Miss Marie Rasch in Russia. In 1907, the couple came to the United States, coming directly to Sheboygan. His wife died on Oct. 3, 1953.
He was employed at American Chair Co. for many years and for 20 years, prior to his retirement in 1934, he was employed at Kohler Co. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ebenezer Sick Benefit Society.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Christ (Emily) Hicks with whom he made his home, Mrs. Emma Hermann and Mrs. Albert (Ida) Beringer Sr., both of Sheboygan; 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Karl and Gottlieb, and seven brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Karl Schulz and Rev. Hans Tornow, pastors of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels from 2 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday and then at the church from noon until the services.
