Leonard LaFreniere, 57, of 909-21st St., Two Rivers, a foreman at Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at home early Friday morning.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. H.J. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Leonard LaFreniere was born Feb. 17, 1907, at Wilson, Mich., son of the late David and Minnie Ranguette La Freniere. When he was a child the family brought him to Goodman, Wis. In 1929, he came to Two Rivers and had been employed by the Hamilton firm since. He was a member of Hamilton Management Club and also of the firm's Goodfellowship Club.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marcella Ruelle, whom he married at Two Rivers Oct. 15, 1938; two sisters, Mrs. Neal Ramsay, of Goodman and Mrs. Sam Hovanesan, of Milwaukee; a brother, Wilfred, and a half-brother, Leon Montpas, of Goodman.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.
