Marcella RUELLE

Marcella LaFreniere, age 104, a resident of North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died on Friday morning, May 1, 2009, at the center.
Marcella was born on May 14, 1904, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Manuel and Emma Gagnon Ruelle. She attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and graduated with the first graduating class of Washington High School. On October 15, 1938, she married Leonard LaFreniere, he preceded her in death on February 28, 1964. She was member of the Ladies of St. Luke and the Homemakers Club. Marcella was known affectionately to her nieces and nephews and their families as "Aunt Muck."
Survivors include a sister-in-law: Nancy LaFreniere; nieces and nephews: Elaine Kruszka, Brown Deer, Arnold (Judith) Ruelle, Niles, Mich., Ronald (Ann) Ruelle, Milwaukee, and William Ahearn, Two Rivers; eighteen great nieces and nephews and special family friends: Peter and Margaret Klein.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Emmanuel Ruelle; an infant brother; an infant sister; a niece: Marion Ahearn and a nephew: Gilbert Kruszka.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon.
Memorials, in Marcella's name, may be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
