Alexander RUELLE
(17 May 1869 - 23 Aug 1957)
Alex Ruelle, 88, of Two Rivers, died early Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Stereckx of Green Bay, after a long illness. Services: St Marks Church Two Rivers, burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Alex was born May 16, 1869 at Mishicot the son of the late, Laurent Ruelle and Jessie Landry. He married the former Georgianna Edmund, in Stiles in 1888--she died April of 1931. He then married Jenney Leiroux at Lena---and his third marriage in 1947 to Mrs. Mary Meneau, she died April 22, 1957. Mr. Ruelle came to Two Rivers from International Falls, Minn. in 1919, where he has resided since. Survivors are six step daughters and three sons; Lawrence, George, and Arson of International Falls, Minn., and one step son. One sister; Mrs. Louis Burbey of Pound Wis., and three brothers; Louis Ruelle of Two Rivers Wilfred Ruelle of Niagara and Levi of Kenosha, 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
