Lanora Antoinette DESCHANE

Lanora A. Kollman, 94, Green Bay, passed away on February 16, 2011 at a local nursing home. Lanora was born October 5, 1916 in Bay Settlement to the late Henry and Katherine (Kuipers) Deschane. On October 5, 1940 she married Milton Kollman at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Bay and he preceded her in death on February 8, 1997. She was a charter member of St. Philip the Apostle. Lanora and Milt enjoyed time at the family cottage at Chute Pond and travelling with Lanora's sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jerome. She was an excellent seamstress and could sew anything. She enjoyed making wedding and bridesmaid dresses for many of her children and grandchildren. Her door was always open to her family, whether they were coming for a short visit, or needed to stay a while.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Bob (Mary Ellen) Kollman, Green Bay, Mary (Fred) Strenski, Green Bay, Jim (Sheri) Kollman, Oconto, Glenn (Mareena) Kollman, Toledo OH, grandchildren Jaclyn (Barry) Campos and Brenda (Jeff) Koch, John (Karla), Steve and Paul (Sadie) Strenski, Becki (Tony) Tomcheck and Stephanie Kollman, Joe (Becky) Kollman, Megan (Brian) Koenig, Sara and Christopher Kollman, Kimberly (Brian) Belbot, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 1 sister Martha (Jerome) Jolly as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Milt brothers and sisters, Edna (Bert) Drais and Carl (Mag) Deschane.
Friends may call at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, Saturday from 9-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at church at 11:00 am with Fr. Jose Castaneda officiating. Entombment at Allouez Catholic Chapel and Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Santa Maria Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
