Parsons, Russell C. 92, of Panama City, FL passed away peacefully on November 11, 2010 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Mr. Parsons was born August 7, 1918, in Silver Creek, OH to the late Lawrence O. Parsons and Ruth Smith Parsons. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the South Pacific Theater. Mr. Parsons was a life-long fisherman, taking up folk art and woodworking in retirement. He shared his finished projects with many people, even having some of his work displayed at the local library. Mr. Parsons was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 61 years, Elizabeth Parsons. Survivors include his son, Russell C. Parsons, Jr. of Panama City, FL; two daughters, Carol Reuter of Yorkville, IL and Linda Butuso of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
