"Betty"Elizabeth M. "Betty" Parsons, 80, passed away on August 11, 2005 in Panama City, Florida, where she moved after retiring from Dial Corporation in Montgomery. She was born in Aurora on May 5, 1925 to James and Catherine McDonnell. She is survived by her loving husband, Russell; daughters, Linda Butuso and Carol Reuter; son, Russell, Jr; cherished grandchildren, John (Janice) Butuso, Rick (Jodi) Butuso and Russell (Stella) Butuso, Vicki (Greg) Clemens, Stacy Rathbun and Brian Parsons; eleven great-grandchildren; and her dear sister, Ruby Rissman; along with extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and other siblings.Arrangements were made and carried out in Florida, but family members in the area will be gathering for a memorial luncheon in celebration and remembrance of her life.
