This child is listed on the 1870 Federal Census (Fort Edward, Washington Co., New York) as being seven years old -- but this was a particularly jumbled-up census. On this census, there is no Odeal or Delia listed, but Minnie is listed as age 11, the age Odeal would have been. "Sarah's" given age (7 yrs.) would fit Minnie (ie. Philomene). Thus, Sarah may not have actually existed, or she may have been a bit younger, which would fill in the gap between Philomene and Delore. In any case, she was not listed with the family on the 1875 New York State Census for Fort Edward.
