Claire Desmarais Phillips passed away on May 10, 2016.
Born January 16, 1930, Claire was a resident of Coventry for most of her life before moving to Ocala, Fla.
The daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Desmarais, Claire was the wife of the late Freddie Phillips and the mother of Fred, Bruce, Mark, Paula, and Douglas Phillips.
Later in life Claire was the wife of Sy Cavit.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry, on June 10 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. A celebration will be held afterwards at Anthony PNA, 15 Meeting St., Coventry.
