Ashe, died Saturday morning at her home in the Bascomville section of Chester County following an extended illness. Mrs. Ashe was a native of Chester County, a daughter of the late William I. and Martha Kizzah Hafner Kirkpatrick. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert Darby of Bascomville, Mrs. R. H. Moore Jr. of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; two sons, F. M. Ashe of Spartanburg and E. K. Ashe of North Augusta; one sister, Mrs. S. J. Brogdon of Alcolu; five brothers, Fred H. Kirkpatrick of Rock Hill, G. M. Kirkpatrick of Taylorsville, N. C., C. H. Kirkpatrick of Salisbury, N. C., M. W. Kirkpatrick and W. C. Kirkpatrick both of Bascomville. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday from the Olivet Presbyterian Church at McConnells by the Rev. Ellis Oakes. Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery. The body will be at Barron Funeral Home until shortly before the hour of service.
