On 31 October 1953 he married Norma Kay Rogers, daughter of Halbert T. and LaVerne (Chilcoat) Rogers, who was born on 6 July 1936 in Amory, Monroe County, Mississippi. Victor is a retired dairy farmer and has lived on the Old Kirkpatrick Farm since 1962.
