John Manley Hathaway

On the 1900 Census of City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., Wisconsin J. M. Hathaway appears with his wife Jeanette H., daughter Ethel and son William H. They are on Roll 1805, Book 1, Page 248. John's occupation is listed as carpenter. They also have a couple boarding with them George and Blance Tucker.

Oshkosh Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Wednesday, August 9, 1916, Page 3, Col. 3: W. H. Hathaway, superintendent of the Wisconsin agencies of the Cadillac Motorcar company, has been advised of the death of his father, John M. Hathaway, which occurred yesterday at Alberta, Can., and was caused by acute heart seizure. The elder Mr. Hathaway resided for years at Milwaukee, but some time ago, having invested in Canadian lands, went to Alberta to take personal charge. The remains will be brought to Beaver Dam and will be interred in the Hathaway family lot there.
