The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, Tuesday, March 22, 1994: Jean Hayes Jennings, 88, of the 600 block of Botetourt Gardens, died March 20, 1994, in her residence. Mrs. Jennings was a native of Grey Hawk, Ky., and a resident of Norfolk since 1954. She was the widow of Owen Herbert Jennings.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Jennings Brennaman of Norfolk; two sisters, Sarah Mildred Pruitt of Cleveland, S.C., and Mary Alice Massong of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Isaac Hayes of Hamilton, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Madison Randolph Brennaman.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. J. Shepherd Russell. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
