Daily Mountain Eagle, Jasper, Alabama, Thursday, May 24, 2007: Frank Edward Black, 79, of Jasper, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, May 24, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home with burial in Boldo Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Plumb will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Kilgore-Green Funeral Home will direct. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his parents, Dolphus and Lavonnie Black; brothers, Brack Black, Grady Black, and Brady Black; and nephew, Thomas Black. He is survived by his sisters, Lorene Bush, Mary Black, and Marjorie Kilgore, all of Jasper; special friend, Mary Holley of Jasper; nephews, G.A. Black of Jasper, Newman Bush of Battleboro, N.C., Fred Bush of Edmond, Okla., Sonny Black of Toledo, Ohio, James Edward Kilgore of Jasper and Steve Kilgore of Pleasanton, Calif.; nieces, June Tidwell of Arley and Patricia Ann Jacobson of Birmingham; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
