Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Overton for Nona W. Kirkpatrick, 90, The Rev. Arlys A. Wilbur officiated. Interment was in the Overton Cemetery with Reynolds-Love Funeral Home of Overton in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Alwyn Johnson, Roy Johnson, Rodney Kirkpatrick, Russell Kirkpatrick, Tim Vala, Scott Vala.
She was born July 30, 1896 at Casper, Wyo., to Charles and Minnie (Johnson) Peterson. She died Sunday Aug. 31 at Westside Home in Lexington where she had resided for several years. She and her husband F. Glenn Kirkpatrick, who died June 5, 1979, farmed south of Overton for many years. Survivors include one son, Rodney E. Kirkpatrick, of Glenn, N.M.; two daughters, Lois M. Vala, Omaha, and Alyce Nelson, Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
