Platteville/Arthur, Wis.---Verna A. Trenary, age 93, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville, Wis. She was born on June 7, 1911, in Clifton Township, Grant Co., Wis., to Matthew and Frances (Winters) Lepeska. She was married to Sheldon "Tony" Trenary in 1939 in Montfort, Wis. Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Lloyd) Yelinek of Livingston; a son-in-law, Ron Dobson of Madison; five grandchildren, Kevin (Liz) Dobson and Mark (Carrie) Dobson both of Madison, Scott (Heather) Dobson of McFarland and Patricia Yelinek and Peter (Becky) Yelinek both of Livingston; five great-grandchildren, Nichole, Kaitlin and Brent Dobson all of Madison and Jacob and Haley Yelinek of Livingston; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lepeska of Stitzer and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1945; daughter, Sheron Dobson on June 9, 1999; sister, Erma Prochaska; two brothers, Fred and Joseph Lepeska and infant brother, Irvin Lepeska. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004 with Father Ken Frisch officiating. Burial will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery in Montfort. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort. A scripture service will be held at 8 pm. Tuesday evening.
