Forrest Fay Kirkpatrick

Forrest Kirkpatrick was the second of three children born to Frank Chrystle Kirkpatrick and his wife Emma (Woodruff) Kirkpatrick. He married Wilma O. Ellefson, daughter of Edward and Sophia (Johnson) Ellefson, who was born 8 August 1905 and died 12 July 1943 in Dodgeville, Iowa County, Wisconsin.
There were four (4) children born of the marriage.

He was born on April 22, 1902, in Montfort. His parents were Frank and Emma (Woodruff) Kirkpatrick. he was united in marriage to the former Wilma Ellefson on November 30, 1925, in Rockford, Illinois. She preceded him in death July 12, 1943. He farmed his entire life near Montfort. Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette, and Dorothy Kirkpatrick, both at home; two sons, Richard of Montfort, and Jim of Platteville; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Biddick of Montfort. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mabel, in infancy. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, at the Soman Funeral Home in Montfort where friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Montfort.
