Posted at findagrave.com: "Elinor Marie Aycock Wimberly passed away peacefully on July 13, 2012. Elinor was born June 30, 1913 in Rosebud, TX to the late Dr. Fred and Elnora Aycock. She was 99 years old. She is preceded in death by two daughters Dianne Leach and Linda Leach Arthur, four sisters, Euelala Duke, Winifred Lodal, Bobbie Lemley, and Marjorie Cook, two brothers, Fred Aycock Jr. and T.P. Aycock. Elinor attended Texas Women's University and Texas Tech University. She worked in retail sales for over 40 years, 25 with Sanger Harris in Dallas, TX, where she retired at the age of 75. Her work ethic, devotion and passion toward her work were admired by all her associates, customers and friends. Family members were especially rewarded by following these attributes. She was and will continue to be a true inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Elinor was involved in several civic organizations in her life. She was a devoted member of the Oak Lawn Methodist Church in Dallas where she taught Sunday school for many years. One of her greatest pleasures was to use her theatrical skills to entertain groups in various venues throughout her life. Elinor was a kind, non-judgmental person, loved by all.
